Outsourcing E-commerce

The biggest concern that I would have with outsourcing E-commerce is dependability, trust, responsibility etc.. Whether I was outsourcing to enhance my online business or just an actual store, there can be a lot of complications. Sometimes you may need outsourcing for packagaing, shipping, or making a website or enhancing products. All these things are very important in making or breaking your business. If you outsource to someone who is flaky or unreliable you can be in trouble. The way I would try to combat this concern is first doing all my research in order to find a really good reputable company that will get the job done that I need. It is still trial and error sometimes, but that is how business is. Its really finding a company that serves your needs and follows through and you start building a relationship with them and thats how trust is earned.

recent purchase

My most recent purchase was a new snowboarding jacket. I decided that I needed a new one, because the one I had was small and not thick enough for the cold weather that I was going to endure in Colorado for snowboarding this past week. Also, it was too short and I needed a jacket that I longer so if I fell I wouldn't get snow inside. I did some information searches on the Internet for different snowboarding jackets at different stores such as: Hansen's board shop, sports chalet, sports authority, Burton, and Avalanche. I was definitely focused on getting the one at Avalanche because it was not outrageously expensive and was exactly what I was looking for in terms of style, quality for price, and warmth. After re evaluating my other choices and speaking to the employees at Avalanche, I decided to purchase the jacket. They were very friendly, helpful, and honest with the answers to my questions. There was no after purchase follow up or evaluation, but after using the jacket the whole week I was extremely pleased with my purchase and didn't regret the decision at all it was a excellent purchase.

Online Shopping

I like shopping online sometimes when its something I know I want. I dont always like buying clothes because I dont know what material it is, how it feels, what it really looks like on etc.. If I have gone to the store and seen it and tried it on and then decide to think about it, I know If I decide to buy it then its easier to buy online. Though for most other things like software, electronics, travel, online always seems to be cheaper and more convinient then getting in your car and wasting gas. Especially now with the way gas prices are, its much easier to have access at your fingertips.

blog #2 business owner

If I were a small business owner I would probably post a blog to target certain people to let them know about my business and also let friends know through blogs so they could let other people know. I think now blogs are very popular and alot of people spend there time reading and posting blogs, so it is definitly worth a try whether or not you get a response because they are extremely easy.

What I want to learn from this class

The most important thing to learn in this class for me personally would be to understand how to learn the computer better and learn about more sites that could help me on an everyday basis. i also want to learn about how businesses utilize computers and different programs.
